Posterior Tibial Tendinitis


This is an inflammation of the tendon which originates in the calf muscles and runs under the inside ankle and attaches near the apex of the ling inner arch. This tendon is placed under more stress as the arch collapses.

Shoe Recommendations: Shoes with the better arches are necessary. The New Balance “Rollbar” also helps take stress of this tendon.

Running: 1225, 1123, 1012, 993, 850, 760, 587

Walking: 977, 927, 846, 811

Cross-Training: 1010, 855

Court: 804

Flat Foot Insole. For normal arches use the Performance Sport Cushion or the Stabilizer Insole.
